Mary Sky's booths at Art San Diego 2017 and Spectrum Miami 2017 focus on themes of transmutation and the delineation of the Self.

Rigling's mechanical sculpture Sound to Art Machine transforms the artist's own bodily vibrations into delicate abstract self portraits in gold, mica and bronze powders.

Ouyang's series The Anatomy of War comments on the long history of the weaponization of a woman's body and how cultural narratives shape and permeate concepts of Self. The series is part of an exploration of how narrative shifts with cultural perspective in relation to gender, race, heritage and power.

Cool Ascii, a web-based digital wall sculpture, features over 3,500 rejected color and black & white film photographs. The image sequence is determined by a true random number algorithm and each photo shown for an interval of either two or four seconds.
